2026 Antique Show will take place July 18 & 19 at Chautauqua Suites in Mayville

Antiques of various types and eras will be available for sale at the 2026 Chautauqua County Historical Society Antique Show on July 18 and 19 at the Chautauqua Suites in Mayville, NY.

MAYVILLE, NY - The Chautauqua County Historical Society will once again hold its annual Antique Show in Mayville, NY during the third weekend of July. The 89th annual Antique Show, featuring an estimated 20 dealers from across Western New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, will be held at Chautauqua Suites Hotel & Expo Center (215 W. Lake Rd., Mayville, NY) with a wide variety of antiques available for sale.

The dates for this year's show are Saturday, July 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, July 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature antique furniture, dinning sets, glassware, silver, jewelry, and much more. Confirmed dealers for this year can be found on our website at CCHSMcClurg.org/AntiqueShow.

The Antique Show has its origin dating back to 1938, when Doc and Edis Shelkey organized the first ever event in Westfield, NY. The two were well-known local antique dealers during that era and the event was so well attended they decided to hold it each year. Since then the show has become an annual tradition in Chautauqua County, and for the past several decades has been organized by the County Historical Society. In 2024, the show was relocated to Mayville and rebranded as the Chautauqua County Historical Society Antique Show, but its purpose and goal remain the same: to raise funds for the Society and the McClurg Museum.

Admission for the Historical Society’s Antique Show is $10 for both days for individuals, or $15 for couples. All proceeds benefit the Historical Society.

The 2026 Antique Show is sponsored by Chautauqua County’s 3% Occupancy Tax Tourism Product Development Grant.
