The Antique Show has its origin dating back to 1938, when Doc and Edis Shelkey organized the first ever event in Westfield, NY. The two were well-known local antique dealers during that era and the event was so well attended they decided to hold it each year. Since then the show has become an annual tradition in Westfield and for the past several decades has been organized by the Chautauqua County Historical Society. In 2024, the show was relocated to Mayville and rebranded as the Chautauqua County Historical Society Antique Show.

Admission for the Historical Society’s Antique Show is $10 for both days for individuals, or $15 for couples.
