‘Tis The Season For Giving

As 2022 comes to a close, the trustees and volunteers of the Chautauqua County Historical Society send their thanks for your important part in being good stewards of the vast and expanding archives kept at McClurg Museum in Westfield.

CCHS members are entitled to a free subscription to TimeLines, the CCHS newsletter, and to free admittance to McClurg Museum. As a special thanks, members also receive a free pass to bring a friend to tour the museum.

The mission of the all-volunteer CCHS is to encourage interest in and knowledge about Chautauqua County history. We do this by collecting, preserving, and working to understand the significance of local historical objects and documents.

We could not do this without your support. Your dues make up the largest part of the CCHS operating budget and help enable us to provide programming about local history free of charge to the public throughout the year. And with a belief that our history should be available to all, we also do not charge researchers or amateur genealogists for inquiries into CCHS records.

You can renew your membership by mail or by clicking on the “Get Involved” button. Membership is set at $30 for individuals, $40 for families, $150 for benefactors, and $300 for patrons.
